I wrote this a long time ago

A Poem I wrote ( coprighted I have the hand written copy)
I wrote a poem today and it was not for anyone, but for me. I thought to myself that this is a poem that I'd like someone to write to me.


In the chambers of my heart

There always a place

Where my devotion exists

In that little space.



I’ll show you something different

I’ll open your eyes,

To a whole different world

Where love never dies

Ones flourishes and prospers

and acts your heart’s multiple desires.

Everything is going to be alright.

and to feel your warmth.

something beautiful,

something pure

something natural

something that will race through your mind.

Something New

So last month I was saying that I went on a date. So I tried something new, I dated three guys at the same time.

Guy #1) The Teacher.

Guy #2) The UCSD Transfer

Guy#3) The GUy in Love with His Car

Guy #1 seemed alright. We went on three dates. Aforementioned in the last post, we went to sushi. That same day, I didn't know but I went on a date with Guy #3. Guy #3 and I went to go see a movie, Hangover.

The following Monday, I had a date with Guy #2. We went to a Korean barbeque place then went to tapex to talk. I think he felt demasculated since I picked him up, i paid for a few things, and I held the door for him. I guess some guys can't handle a indepedent girl.

Guy #1 and I talked for a while. We went to the Body Worlds Exhibit and later had lunch at the Prado. It was lovely and I had a great time. For our 3rd date, we went to go see Transformers and we ate at the Cheesecake factory. I don't think Guy #1 was into me anymore. There were a few signs. He stopped calling me and he never made a move on me at the movies. At first I was disappointed because he was my favorite guy out of all three, but later I shrugged. If he wasn't into me, thats his fault not mine ^_^.

Guy #2 and I were supposed to have dinner a few days ago but he never called to confirm our dinner plans. My consult did tell me that Guy #2 had a reputation for being a player. I decided to take my consult's warning seriously. On Sunday, Guy #2 finally did call me to see " if we were still hanging out." I informed him that he never called me and that I already made plans that night. I never did receive a call from Guy #2.

Guy #3 and I are still talking. We had a date last Wednesday at Starbucks. I told him that the purpose of our date was for me to get to know him. After talking for three hours, he let me know that he would like to start something with me. When I asked him what that meant, he responded with " its up to you."

This single girl is tired of dating. Dating three guys is exhausting and it definately taught me something different about each guy. I know what I like and what I do not like. In addition, I think I'm going to take a break from dating.
